Hi everyone. New to this and just wondering if anybody has exprienced what im going through right now. Sorry this is a bit long.
I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS in 2016. Im a 51 year old female and back in September 2022 i began getting light headed/feeling faint spells. This very quickly became a permanent thing, 24/7. Engaged with my GP who did blood rests which were fine and i wore a 24 hour blood pressure monitor, again this was normal. Eventually after nearly 2 months of feeling faint my GP suggested it might be menopause and put me on HRT and after 2 weeks the lightheadedness disappeared.
Unfortunately around 3 weeks ago the feeling returned. I feel like im going to pass out any second. Its not vertigo, the world isnt spinning. The best way i can describe it is feeling like im walking on a trampoline, very unsteady and a feeling of fullness in my head, if that makes sense.
Ive gone back to my GP and had a further blood test and have to go and have a 24 hour cardiac monitor fitted next week.
When i engaged with my MS team last year they didnt know what it was and asked me if i thought i was having a relapse. I said i didnt know, ive never had one before. And then they said to wait and see how i get on with the GP.
In the meantime im left feeling like im going to pass out and at the end of my tether with it. Its there when i wake up right through until i go to bed. Im so sorry this is painfully long but has anybody else experienced this? Thank you.
