I feel I am getting to the end of my mobility and walking and stairs are becoming very difficult. Has anyone got advice on evercises they have found to be useful and effective?
Probably best to get a physio assessment done, as they can identify areas of weakness and suggest some exercises to build muscle strength. Whatever you can manage is likely to help.

My local pool has a disabled swim session every Tuesday - perhaps yours does too?
I know someone who swears by the revitive medic that ian Bothem avertises. Not cheap i know around £300. And to be honest we didnt think it would do any good. But how wrong we were.
She has drop foot and had been bedridden for months after an illness but now after using this every day she is walking again from room to room. As while she couldnt walk it was still execising her legs and strengthening them. Worth looking into. Good luck
I too am finding walking too strenuous nowadays. I try and do single step ups on the first step on the stairs at home, as my exercise.
