I am fairly new to the forum so go easy and really newly diagnosed in November. I must be honest have not been feeling my best trying to get medicated and waiting for dmt and getting used to the new me and what not.
The main reason why i posted was a question when i use for example my electric toothbrush, my hand feels extremely weird for a while after ward sometime pain. Then i started to notice happening with the hairdryer straighteners and also from the computer tower which is affecting it up the legs and feet. Just wondering if other people have hard of this, experience this or this is just me which i am generally thinking it is lol
Not with electricity in general, but I have to limit my contact with anything that vibrates, like a hair dryer. It sends the vibrations into whatever part of the body is touching it and causes pain for a while. If it’s a vibrating sound that I can just hear, it affects my face and mouth for a while. I thought it was just me!
MS can give a multitude of symptoms varying from person to person.
One of my first symptoms was a feeling of almost scalding hot sensation on different parts of my skin when I touched that area with something cold like a metal spoon that had been run under cold water.
I also get a buzz/vibration through my fingers if I use a drill or something similar, to the point sometimes that it feels like an electric shock.
I am having a similar issue, however it is not about electricity, it is about objects that are vibrating. If I am using something that is vibrating, I am feeling the same as NorasMom, it might affect my face and mouth for a while as well. I still remember the last time when I used my hairdryer, oh man that was soooo terrible. It started to vibrate due to overheating, so I started to feel bad, and I could not get it unplugged. At last, it caused a short circuit, and a total power outage. I had to call for the services of the best Level 2 Electrician Bondi https in the area, so he would fix everything. I am still feeling very ashamed every time when I meet my neighbors.
