Does anyone recognise this symptom?

I have this weird symptom and have had for absolutely ages - several years. When I use an electric (sonic in my case) toothbrush in the morning, I can continue feeling the buzzing feeling in my hands for a minute or two afterwards. It has happened in other situations too, but for the life of me I can’t remember what they are (cognitive difficulties? Lol) Thanks

Ps when I can say I can still feel it I mean it almost feels like it’s still there.

Hello I don’t use an electric toothbrush but that feeling of buzzing in the hands happens to me a lot…particularly, when I’ve been out in the cold. It’s like electric shocks in my fingers. Kind of like a pulsating feeling…weird. I get the buzzing in other parts of my body but that’s another story lol X

Hi Blossom,

Sounds like it might be similar, although for me it feels like I still have the toothbrush in my hand even though it isn’t? It’s weird, and it definitely started at the point when I had my first relapse (or however one would describe it if not dxed)

I get buzzing in my thumbs, but the worst is round my mid drift, it wakes me up and is frustrating

I wouldn’t say I’ve had exactly the same thing - i.e. with an electric toothbrush, but I’ve once had a kind of “echo” with every footfall, i.e: impact, buzzzzz, impact, buzzzzz. I’ve also had a strange sensation where, when spraying my feet with anything (e.g. freshener, odour control spray) I could feel it much BETTER than usual (odd, 'cuz mostly MS numbs my senses). It was as if I could feel every tiny individual molecule of the spray landing on my skin, rather than just a general: “Whoosh!”, and this sensation of the molecules still landing would persist for a moment or two after I stopped spraying. So I definitely think it’s possible for the nerves to get over-stimulated, as well as dulled (numb).
