Electric costs

Hi all, hope you are well.

I was wondering if there is any help for electric costs. I have a hospital bed, pressure mattress, hoist and now an electric wheelchair.

I do not expect or want loads of help. Just any help would be appreciated.

That’ll probably depend on what your age is.. state pension age I’m thinking of. Or if not that age if you’re getting some kind of benefits. If you’re not getting your state pension nor any benefits then the answer is probably not a lot of help available. Although, saying that there is lots of smaller charities that can and do help people. But, they might have their criteria for who might be eligible to receive their help. I live in a village and there is a local charity there that does help local people in need. I haven’t approached them personally so I don’t know what the criteria is for getting help from them. Possibly similar to the government help with the heating payment. Wishing you the best of luck in getting any help that you need.
