I’m going for an EEG next week and I was wondering if anyone has had one, what it’s like, how soon they received the results and did it help with diagnosis?
I’ve been reading this paper Frontiers | Examining electroencephalogram signatures of people with multiple sclerosis using a nonlinear dynamics approach: a systematic review and bibliographic analysis and it seems pretty neat stuff
I’ve never had an EEG in connection with MS. That’s a new idea to me. Anything that can remove the need for MRIs and lumbar punctures has to be good
Agree with that. I’ve had six now and seventh on Monday plus I don’t think I want an LP ever again!
It seems neurophysiology is the path they’re taking for MS which does looks much more promising. Going for the EEG Thursday and some other test at the start of February
Had this completed yesterday. Strange having strobe lights flashed in your eyes and tons of wires stuck to your head but nice to lie down for about 40 minutes in a quiet room!
