Does Gabapentin causes UTIs for you?

Hiya folks

Started giving Gabapentin a go at a very low dose of 100mg at night and increased last week to 200mg at night. As per Neuro recommendation - can go much higher but…

Now I’m getting slightly cloudy urine and a ache in the left side. To me this could be my first sign of UTI - again!

I do ISC twice a weak as per bladder nurse but had no problems until just started Gabapentin.

Does Gabapentin cause UTIs for you?

Hi Marty, It may be a coincidence, I’ve been on baclofen on and off for a few years and it hasn’t made a difference to whether or not I get infections. I used to ISC with baclofen and now have SPC with no more than usual risks of them. Sara
