Does anyone itch their leg and feel it in their face?

Currently in the diagnosis process. Just have nerve study to rule out nerve damage causing my symptoms and that’s came back completely normal.
Waiting for scans now but I have a symptom I’ve not seen anywhere no matter how much I google.
So when I itch my left ankle or calf, I get this weird tingly feeling come across my entire head, and more severe tingling in my right cheek area. I told doctors but they look at me like I’m crazy. I’m not moving my neck/head at the time. I’ve tested it. So I know it’s not lhermittes, never used to happen until my other symptoms began.
It’s just so strange

Hi @laurawrox, I hope you get the results from the scans back soon and so sorry to hear you’re going through this at the moment.

I’m also waiting for results and very new to the diagnosis journey so sadly unsure if anyone has had this symptoms before. Really hate that feeling of trying to explain a symptom to medical staff and just getting quizzical looks - makes you feel like you’re going bananas!

It’s helped me to keep a health log while I’ve been going through this (just a very simple list on my phone) - some symptoms which I thought were nothing turned out to be something reoccurring, while others seem like they might have been one-offs vs. linked to anything broader. At the very least writing things down/putting words to strange feelings really helps me!

Is there anything else you’re doing while itching which is causing the sensation/do you have it at any other times (e.g. when bending down)? Guessing not since you’ve been so specific, and sounds really connected specifically to the itching your left ankle/calf. It must be so frustrating to be experiencing something where you can’t find other shared experiences or which doesn’t have a clear explanation. I hope you have some answers soon.
