My name is Harry Highland, I am 21 years old and a third year media student at Birmingham City University. I have recently raised over £3000.00 for MS and undertook the charity challenge climb of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the MS Society as it is a disease that has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My Granddad has battled with MS for 50 years now and is my idol in how he has dealt with the disease and tried to not let it get in the way of his life. Whilst I do not suffer of MS myself, I am a strong advocate for trying to find a cure and better the lives of anyone with MS.
I am making a documentary for my final year project about the charity climb and, more specifically, the people that MS affects and how they deal with it. Having spoken to a number of people with MS, I am usually left with nothing but admiration for all those who suffer and their families. I would like to tell every story through my documentary. I am looking to conduct a number of short interviews with people who have MS, people who look after people with MS and anyone who wants to have their story told.
If anyone would like to be involved in this documentary then please let me know and we can hopefully arrange it. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and understand this is not the reason for the forum however having read a number of posts on here I felt I should at least ask.
Thanks a lot,
Harry
