Good evening
Thought this might interest you – an hour-long documentary about MS made by BBC Scotland. Scotland has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. It features a range of individuals with varying levels of disability from fairly mild to severe. Some of it is in Gaelic but subtitles are provided. Some nice scenery of the Western Isles too.

And now to bed

Thanks for that Hilary, really enjoyed, just makes you grateful for the services we have here, let’s hope they get what they want, have a good xmas, Jean
just sat and watched the video, was really good and moving. Hope folks take note. It is very unbaised and a shame it is not on general release rather than on BBC Alba

Hi Hillary
Thanks for the link. My wife and I have just watched the program and found it very interesting, must confess to a tear or two.
I have a friend who originally came from Wick, she has two sisters and a nephew all with MS. It is amazing how many more people have it in Scotland.
Have a lovely Christmas
Chris
Hi everyone
I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s a pity that there aren’t more thoughtful programmes like this that show some of the realities of living with MS.
I copied the link to my sister who has lived in Edinburgh for many years. Hopefully she won’t develop MS - But maybe I’ll add some Vitamin D tablets to her Christmas present…
Wishing you all a very merry and peaceful Christmas
Hilary x
