Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?

Hi,

I was looking for some guidance and advice if possible please.

I have had ongoing medical issues since June last year and wanted to see if these symptoms sound familiar to anyone and how they conveyed it to the doctor.

The symptoms I have are:

Tingling/strange sensation in my face
Balance issue that feels like the sensation of going over a hill or falling forward
Pins and needles in hands and legs
Whooshing feeling in legs occasionally
Pain in forearms (Odd muscle cramp feeling)
Ache in finger tips
Pinpoint pain in chest

I have had a MRI on both brain and spine which have come back normal which is great but I am really struggling to get a diagnosis.

I have family members who have MS and did not know if any of the above are symptoms.

I am really struggling with this and desperate to find out what is causing this but it seems like a hopeless task.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there, Ive experienced the first three of your list of symptoms. The vertigo type feeling suddenly started way before ( years before) diagnosis and I didn’t bother with Drs - just put it down to ‘one of those things’. Tingling on one side of my face was something I experienced about a year before I had optic neuritis and consequent diagnosis of MS. Not sure I can add much more but I hope you soon get some answers

Thanks for the reply it’s very helpful.

It’s the clear MRI that everyone seems to be focusing on as the reason why it should not be MS.

I hope to find out some more answers, was your balance issues daily? I have had this pretty much every day for about 6 months +

I also want to add real tiredness to a point where I am having to lie down and sleep in the day at lunch or early evening. I am sleeping for 9 hours which is great in one respect but always so tired.
