Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and hypermobility

Hi. I am 52 and recently recieved the diagnosis of fibro and hypermobility. From reading up it appears some of the symptoms probably overlap with LOMS. What is concerning me is i have involuntary movements in my hands that have started, for eg i am scrolling on my phone and i want to stop, im telling myself to stop but my hand and fingers carry on in a fashion. I have become very twitchy especially at bed time, just as im falling to sleep. My body is becoming very stiff, walking like a robot until i eventually loosen up but sometimes i stiffen up when im doing something. I feel like someone is squeezing my eyeball sometimes, my sight is deteriorating but sometimes it feels like my eyes don’t line up and i cant focus or see properly. I have the usual fibro symptoms but always wondered what it was that felt i was being squeezed round my chest. Should i ask to look at these other symptoms seperatly as my gp thinks everything is fibro related? Sorry for long post.

hi, fibro, RA and MS all can have very similar symptoms. I also know it is possible to be wrongly diagnosed, as I was with HSP.

Yes, speak to your GP about it.
