I live in a room that is damp with an air humidy of 66%.
I spend most of my time in this room. I think it is a room and not a prison cell.
I think my current dehumidifer is not up to the job.
Can anybody recommend a dehumidifer that will remove a lot of moisture out of a back bedroom in a terraced house?
Thank you.
We have a Meaco, 8 Desiccant dehumidifier. Seems quite good. Desiccant ones are quite light which is useful for moving around and it is much quieter than our previous compressor one. It does give off a slight smell when it switches into drying out the desiccant but that doesn’t bother me.
I have a Probreeze which I got from Amazon on offer. They’re currently £169. I initially got it to help dry clothes on the airer quicker (which it does)
It’s my first dehumidifier and I’m happy with it. I now have it on almost all of the time in my bedroom- seems to be very sensitive and can detect humidity as the number changed when I added a pair of socks I had dropped on the stairs to the airer!
