Has anyone gone deaf at all? Weird question but I have gone deaf in one ear which is the side I suffer with when relapsing. I saw the doctor and it isn’t wax or anything so assumes it’s ms related. Spoke to my ms nurse who says it isn’t common . I am going for a hearing test when an appointment comes along, which if anything like the whole process will be pretty slow!
I lost my hearing or most of it in my right ear, the opposite side my symptoms started on, although have symptoms on both sides now. ( I am undiagnosed) The ear is also numb, inside and out and comes with tinnitus. Because I also get Vertigo now with it, my gp has diagnosed Ménière’s disease. Although I believe it is also a MS symptom too.
below link was on a previous post and it mentions hearing, hope it helps. http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Multiple-Sclerosis/Paresthesias---Things-That-Go-BUZZ-in-the-Night/show/378?cid=36
Thanks all, not going mad then!
This was interesting as had the vibrations like a cell hone quite few times thought I was going mad!
Val, your right after a month or so it suddenly came back just before new year. Still waiting for the ENT appointment my doc requested, guessing I don’t need that now.
