Damned flu jab...

Hi gang

I may be a wimp BUT has anyone else had a bad reaction to the 2015 flu jab? I required 2 co-codamols and a warm pad at my shoulders this morning, I’m now thinking of going back to bed! Is it just me? Cheers folk keep well and ‘doctor’ yourselfM

Sorry, I been fine… so far

Got mine next Monday. I remember feeling poorly after having it next year… but it’s better than getting flu.

I last had flu about 7 years ago and actually thought I was dying… and didn’t care! It took a couple of months to recover… so flu jab it is!

Stay in bed M until you feel better… sending you virtual Dr. Chocolate to aid a quick recovery!

I should have had mine on monday, I felt as though I had cold coming at the weekend so rang monday morning and was advised to cancel. So next Monday for me too.

Hope you feel better soon M

I’ve never had a flu jab, I’ve always been scared off having it. I’m going to get it this month though after my last chest infection wiped the floor with me and then some. I’m ‘feart’ as us scots say  I won’t get ill for getting it will I? That’s what puts me off getting it.

Iv had the flu jab for years and most years I don’t get a cold after it but occasionally I do. Just had a couple of bad days with a cold but I feel compared to the flu it was worth it. The last time I had flu I felt I was dying and couldn’t have cared less and it lasted for weeks.

Cheers Mags, I’ve just seen people after they’ve had a flu jab and thought sod that, you’re full of the cold now. But I think it’s time I put my big girl pants on an just go get jabbed! x

Hi guys, I did as I was told and hid under my duvet for a few days with Dr Chocolate! I’m not sure if it was the jag or just a co-incident. My shoulders are still a bit sore BUT so much better than they were. Co-codamols works but the side effects! Plenty of homemade soup courtesy of my favourite ‘soup dragon’.

Take care folks hope you have a good weekend M x

Under the duvet with Doc Chocolate is always a warm place. Fingers crossed you feel better very quickly I’m gong to book mine tomorrow, keeping my fingers crossed it will be uneventful crosses fingers
