D Mannose - Good or Gimmick?

Hello,

Does anyone take D Mannose to keep UTI’s at bay? I bought them, however urology nurse had never heard of them and whilst she said they wouldn’t do any harm, she suggested drinking plenty of water would likely have the same effect. They’re not cheap, so would be good to hear your thoughts!

l take them - have done for about 18months as l have a SPC. They certainly have kept uti’s at bay.

i take them but sometimes forget so i SOMETIMES get a UTI

I take cranberry tablets…high dose…had an spc for 18 months and no utis…fingers crossed

Thank you all, will give them a go I think also. At the very least they won’t do any harm, and will do anything to keep the UTIs at bay!! xx
