Unfortunately my parent has MS and I’m looking to take out critical illness cover. I know most major insurers will exclude MS from cover if a parent has it.
Does anyone know any that will cover it? I obviously have no symptoms but just want peace of mind. Thank you!
Hey, I totally get wanting peace of mind. My mom has MS too, and when I was looking for critical illness cover, I found that some insurers, like Aviva and Legal & General, were willing to offer it, even with that family history. However, they did have certain conditions or exclusions around it, so it’s a good idea to really go through the terms or talk to a broker who can help you find a policy that works for your situation. It’s worth doing some research, but hopefully you’ll find something that gives you the coverage you need!
