Cramps in upper arms

Does anyone get cramps in their upper arms? I have not been diagnosed but I have had facial numbness and headaches since July 2022. Went to ER in August 2022 and they did an MRI said it was normal and sent me home. Till this day my face mostly left side is numb for most of the day as well and my lips and front of tongue. I also have tingling in hands and feet daily.

Occasionally I would get muscle cramps in my biceps but it wouldn’t last long probably 24 hours it would contract 10-20 times then go away.

I also have heavy legs no weakness that I can tell off. My arms feel heavy for the last week.

The main issue that I’m having is the muscles in both legs have been achy probably due to muscle cramps from 03/01-present but subsiding. My biceps and triceps have now been cramping every hour for a minute for the past few days.

I have another mri scheduled next Wednesday. I’m so scared this could be MS or even worse the beginning of ALS.

Does anyone experience the cramps in their arms?

There are lots of other conditions that mimic MS and that makes it difficult to diagnose. It may be different across the pond, but this explains the process in the UK.

Am I sure that I have MS? - by Gavin Giovannoni - MS-Selfie (substack.com)

Hi

I dont have cramps but I do have altered sensation in the right side of my face. I have a lesion on my trigemal nerve.

I haven’t been diagnosed with ms yet, I have fibromyalgia but due to new symptoms like footdrop amongst others that I’ve just put down to fibromyalgia my gp has put me on a waiting list to see a neurologist as I could have ms, I often get a tight cramping feeling in my upper right arm which seems to happen after a panic attack, it will tighten up like cramp every 20 minutes or so and last all day, sometimes I can feel it twinging before I have a panic attack, mentioned it to my gp as worried it might be heart related but he said not due to how I described the pain, I’ve also had episodes of vertigo but just presumed fibromyalgia so never went to the gp
