Cosmetic Botox

Is it safe for people with MS to have cosmetic Botox ( for frown lines) ?

Never actually tried this, but offhand, I can’t actually think of anything that isn’t “safe with MS” - or at least as safe as for the rest of the population. Any procedure carries some slight risks, doesn’t it?

Botox is sometimes used medicinally in MS, to help with bladder or spasticity problems. So there can’t be a problem with it being more toxic to us than to the rest of the population. Of course, it IS toxic - that’s how it works!

I probably wouldn’t fancy it - but purely because I get enough problems with unresponsive muscles, without having injections deliberately to cause it. That’s just personal taste, though. I don’t think it would be dangerous, as such. Just something I can live without.
