Hi everyone, im 27 mother of 3. Ive been having problems with my legs for 4 years now and as time has gone on symptoms are tallying up. Tingling, pain tiredness, vertigo and migrain also stuttering. Doctors have tested and tried me on many tablets to help but to no avail. Went to doctors last friday as it seems like my feet keep failing me which results in to some falls. They are now sending me to a neuro to have a mri scan to see if ms is causing it. I dont know much at all about ms and was a little overwhelmed when they mentioned it and a bitt shocked as never would of thought that. I guess I am just a bit in denial really I wouldnt say I have symptoms of ms and am kind of praying that its just me thinking things up in my head. As I have just put everything down to migraine. Does anyone get like a grey mist go over an eye? I always get it when I have a headache. Again just put it down to migraine. Anyone else been so in denial about symptoms but ended up with ms? Xx
GPs who privately suspect MS are typically reluctant to share their thoughts with the patient for the good reason that they are generalists and not specialists, and even specialists are usually reluctant to be drawn until they have a fair bit of hard evidence to go on. In other words, you’re not there yet, or even remotely close. Please try to keep a completely open mind - there is most likely a long way to go before you find out what is the matter. These things tend to be a case of narrowing down the options by eliminating conditions from the suspects list. It is often the case that very menacing-looking suspects appear out of nowhere and give us sleepless nights, only to be eliminated. Your GP’s hunch is just a hunch - it might be spot-on and it might be wide by a mile - but what it isn’t is a verdict, handed down on tablets of stone. Just try to take things one step at a time and try not to get ahead of yourself.
Good luck with it all.

Thank you very much for your reply. This started 4 years ago and I have been tested for soooo many things. The problem is when the problems come they stay for about a month then go for a while then come back and they get worse everytime. Recently though I have only been getting a 6 week break in between. This one im currently having is by far my worst one yet with my speach slurred and my feet really dragging. Its very very exhausting and painful. They have put me on a fast track appointment to the neuro, dont know how long it will be though. Im expecting a long road as it has already been a long one. Think because im young no one haa really taken much notice in me. Thank you again for your reply I have found comfort in it. I really hope its just all apart of my migraine. Defiantly wont be getting ahead of myself. Just a bit worrying when they start throwing things in the wood work that I know nothing about really. Hope you are well. Xx
