Coloured Light

I’ve just been to a presentation given by an optician about the success they are having with coloured light.

He had several videos - one a child with autism, one with tourettes, one with MS, one with parkinsons, arthritis etc and he was showing how glasses with tinted lens can have an effect on all these people. One was an elderly lady with tremors from Parkinsons which were so bad that she could hardly put the glasses on and the minute they were on her face that were almost all gone. It was amazing to watch.

At a school they tested the children and those who needed the tinted glasses got them, the average reading age increased by 1 year 4 months, in just a week!

Fascinating for me in many ways cause I am a lighting design engineer but also because MS & migraine are two of the conditions they have had success with and I have both.

Interesting research to follow - watch this space folks

Yes, my adopted brother has a complex combination of problems and he is getting some peach tinted which are going to be helpful to him. It is quite an interesting thing, I’ll let you know if they help him.

Actually, that’s just jogged my memoryabout an autistic boy, who used to wear tinted glasses (when I used to help with Riding for the Disabled) I think he used to have blue lenses but it was about 20 years ago so I can’t remember exactly

Report back won’t you?

This is certainly very interesting, look forward to any further info Jue

I suffer with migraine too, in face I’m just recovering from one, it’s switched sides today. I’d love it if there was a colouring they could add to my lenses which could prevent them. It would be a happy coincidence if it was one of my favourite colours like red or purple  Tracey x
