Hello everyone! I was just wondering if any of you suffer with coldsores, and if so when you have an outbreak do you find your MS symptoms feel worse? My only symtom is blurred vision in my left eye left over from a bout of optic neuritis but today I awoke with not one, but two nasty coldsores and feel my vision may be worse. I’m 38 weeks preggers and have just moved house so I’m not surprised I’m a little stressed and run down. Just wondered if anyone could relate. Cheers! Lisa x
Hi Lisa, yep I suffer from coldsores and they usually appear in conjunction with the time of the month. They also make my MS symptoms worse but instead of getting a cold I get a coldsore! For the first couple of days it makes me feel really quite ill but as soon as the coldsore starts to bleed it is past the contagious stage and symtoms start to settle down.They are also related to stress and I’m not surprised with everthing you’ve got going on the virus has raised it’s ugly head. My last one I had was when my dad died. Hope you feel better soon - like has been suggested on another post, have a duvet day. Linda x
