When I’m cold my spasms are more frequent and hurt more is this common?I am much better in the heat, yet my consultant report said heat would agitate more.

Hi Pauline, some people with MS do better in the heat…and quite a few are affected by extremes of heat or cold. I am…they both make my symptoms worse. Neuros sometimes have rather limited text book knowledge. Remember, MS is different for each one of us…so trust your gut instincts. You KNOW your spasms are worse in the cold…no matter what. My neuro thinks my swallowing problems might be caused by acid reflux. I KNOW he’s wrong…it’s caused by MS. Trust yourself. Be your own MS expert. Pat xx
