Hi folks - a lovely, busy time of the year that I always struggle with - the darkness & my mental health takes a dip at this time of the year - just generally feel unwell & my MS doesn’t help either I suppose, but I do wish everyone a healthy Christmas & just letting anyone know, if you’re struggling, brighter days are ahead - I’ve been through this so many times since diagnosis.
Thank you, Redman. Yes, it’s a tricky time for me as well. As you say, fair days will shine again, so best wishes to you and all of us as we navigate this bit.
Best wishes to you as well Redman. As they say, this too will pass. I hope you can find something to enjoy but know that spring is getting closer.
Seasons greetings to everyone on here xx
Hi Redman, Well I’m fortunate, I don’t and never have suffered with the mental health side of things and I do count my blessing for that, so my heart goes out to anyone one who does, because what this condition, brings to us is bad enough without that. For me at this time of year, the MS decides to give me a good kicking, does every year, I’m SPMS, warm weather, kicking, cold weather kicking, but Spring, yeah I love it.
So I too wish everyone a Good Christmas and all good wishes for 2025 and I hope the darkness lifts soon.
Jean
Hello @Redman
I always like to think of Christmas as the point in the year when the days will slowly start to get brighter and less gloomy again.
Wishing every MSer all the best this festive season!

Hi Redman.
It can be a tricky time for so many but please know you are never alone and everyone on this amazing site are here always.
I really hope things become a bit brighter soon for you and have a Happy, peaceful Christmas when it comes.
We’re approaching the turning point… when it starts to get a bit more hopeful. Solstice is the thing for me - the change from the dark to the light, and when you’ve hit the bottom, the only way to go is up! Hope everyone has a very decent Christmas/solstice/hannukah or whatever you celebrate.
