Hi, I’d like to hear from others with experience of Tecfidera. I’m 3 months in and have had laryngitis for about a month which I can’t shift. Also pain in right arm is new. I’ve been struggling to work and it’s become impossible for 10 days now. I’m too weak. Seeing neurologist in a week for test results. Gp says virus so no treatment just rest. But I’m self employed and so keen to get back to work.
I’ve been on Tecfidera for 3.5 years and from Covid to everyday colds and sniffles it’s made no difference at all to recovery times.

You should be having blood tests at prescribed intervals (less frequent as treatment goes on). If your lymphocytes are low it may mean you are slower to recover. I am off Tecfidera because they were too low for too long. They were rising but dropped when I was fighting off an infection.
Was a great shame as I found Tecfidera to be easy and effective.
