Hi,
I’m new to the forum and really appreciate being able to share experiences.
I got diagnosed with MS in February 2024.
I’m still finding my feet with how to pace things especially with the fatigue I feel.
One of the strangest things I feel sometimes is like the top of my brain is buzzy, like with electricity. Most days I feel like I have a low level headache just sitting there, waiting to see if it will get more painful. Does anyone else deal with similar sensations?
Have you found anything that helps it?
All advice is gratefully received.
When I was first diagnosed in December 2023. I experienced a crushing feeling in my head, with increased tinnitus and very dry painful eyes that are sensitive to bright lights. My neurologist put it down to hemiplegic migraines and didn’t offer I any form of treatment. After around 10 days of being in hospital they started me on gabapentin, which did ease these symptoms. But since then I’ve experienced loads of episodes of this pain with increased facial and mouth numbness. I was finally diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia, I’m awaiting an appointment with the pain clinic. As all treatments I’ve tried either don’t work or I’m allergic to them. With the present episode I’m experiencing buzzing in both ears and stabbing pain above my eye, in my eye and around my ear. I would suggest you have it checked out, as mine has gotten progressively worse with time.
