Breaking Point

New diagnosis and before diagnosis

Hi everyone.

Well I finally have had my MRI and the results. However I’m left with more questions than answers now, as the MRI came back normal. Whatever is wrong with me is getting worse though and now I’m left waiting to see the neurologist again at some point hopefully soon but I don’t know.

On top of the previous symptoms I had ( fatigue, numbness, pain, electric shocks, Lhermitte’s, weakness and more) I now have weakness and pain in my legs almost 24/7. I’ve found that I can not walk like I used to, if I walk too far or for too long or I stand up for too long I end up in a lot of pain that lasts for days. I can’t even sit comfortably like I used to for long now for the same reason.

I dont know know what to think or where to go next.

Sounds unpleasant for you. MRI scans can be one way of diagnosing MS but wait and see what the neurologist has to say about your symptoms. being left in limbo is awful but rest as much as possible and try not to worry (easy for me to say) because stress exasperates things.
