Absolutely! Blue string pudding is now high on my list of dietary requirements.
Hey, wasn’t their child named Loo Pan???
You two are a bit fussy for Michelin inspectors. You’re supposed to eat disgusting things.
[quote=Carole58]mick how could anyone think you were silly?
I might.
They had several offspring. None of whom were ever seen in daylight and their names never mentioned in polite society; like mine.
I most certainly would.
Awwwwww thanks guys that’s so sweet
M
Always here for you Mick.
I know exactly what you mean. Mid-sentence I …… that thingymajig that you… you know what I mean don’t you?
I LOVED the Clangers - I learned from them at an early age the value of a balanced diet which consisted not ONLY of blue string pudding but green soup from the Soup Dragon. Since I am now glowing in the dark as a result of this diet, I think, regrettably, I should have wished to become Noggin the Nog instead…
aw thanks AV i hadn’t thought of Noggin the Nog for years.
children’s tv was fab in the 60’s/70’s.
having a UB40 day today.
one in 10 - what a great political statement that was.
had loads on, Kingston town at the moment.
i’m not getting up until rat in mi kitchen has been on!
1 in 10 - what a great track. Nice ear worms. But now I’ve got a rat in me kitchen, what am I gonna do? §
Ah, now, Noggin the Nog brings back memories - Nogbad the Bad plus Draculus the bird. Shame they don’t make 'em like that any more - sigh!
Showing my age now, but who remembers the Wooden Tops?
sue
you gonna fix that rat, that’s what you’re gonna do.
Flopsy
i even remember a particular episode of the wooden tops.
one of the twins kept asking what’s for dinner and mummy woodentop said “sawdust and hay”.
then the twins kept singing sawdust and hay.
that programme used to come on when we lived with my nan so i was 3 maximum
do you think it could explain my lack of sense?
but do i care?
So what exactly is wrong with having sawdust and hay for dinner? It makes perfect sense to me! Nil calories and no cooking involved - probably better than a microwave meal for one!
It’s never too late for a Noggin.
Remember them!
I was one.
