Mogace - Nuns of whatever age don’t have ‘time on their hands’ - they are incredibly hard working and spend many hours a day in prayer or contemplation. At my local Convent the Sisters have a Mass every night at 2 a.m. as well as Services during the day. ------------ As for safety issues my mother used to say when I was a child that if on my way home a stranger offered me a lift in their car I should always show my appreciation !!! and say ‘thank-you.’
In this gaff it is usual to start the day with a kebab at 2 a.m. (on the way home from the “club” followed by more meals during the day, after a few hours kip.
However, I couldn’t be called a nun by any stretch of the imagination. (or stretching anything else.)
Rubber.
Didn’t she do the first Sistine Chapel before they gave him the boot?
Nah, you are thinking of the Jackson 5 & Blame it on the boogie
- my mum advised “thank you but No!”

Once upon a time in a little town called Neath, I had two kebabs in the same evening, one on the way out to the pub and one on the way home, I had far too much beer to remember any ill effects or if I had chilli sauce.

My mum said run like hell. But she’s not one for living dangerously.
The Neath Polith dithmitheth uth?
Sounds like you have also imbibed the local brew …strangely enough it is called “Brains”
Theven gin and tonicth uthually are enougth.
But the odd pint ith alwayth a welcome addithon.

The Welsh for Neath is Castell Nedd. Kebab poses a problem because there’s no ‘K’ in Welsh so I think it would have to be ‘cebab’ – but you can’t cook them in a popty ping.
mmmmmm think my mother may have been a tad naïve - her friend had told her that a local beauty spot was very popular for people to take their dogs there for a walk AT NIGHT and she asked me why they did that. I said it was because those dogs were being trained to work with the visually impaired and they needed to know what it was like to do things in the dark. And she believed me! - couldn’t imagine trying to explain to my mother what really went on there.
G&T sounds great but reduces the fog

how on earth does krakowian translate into Welsh in that case ?

My dad used to take our great Dane for a walk on Saturday, I took her out for a walk one day and she pulled me straight to the local pub

mmmm cwestiwn diddorol! interesting question. will cracowian do? We haven’t got a j k q x z in Welsh but we do have ll, th, ch, dd, ff, ng, ph, sh, [they count as one letter] If you want help with mutations pm me I’ll see what I can do!
Thanks,
I am curious but not smart enough for serious study.
Mick
Now that’s what I call dogging!
And there was me thinking that ‘dogging’ was something else, more along the lines of Krakowians post! Something that generally requires the dark to ‘do it’.
(Are we losing our innocence on this thread? Did we ever have any?)
