Go for it.
Are you getting prescribed or buying it yourself?

Go for it gets another vote.
Just remember to stop taking it a week before any blood tests, or tests for UTIs. It can skew the results
If you have to buy your own, do not take any supplements from a Health Food Shop - you want the Pharmaceutical Grade (97.5% pure, or better).

It’s not the right type or dosage from the chemist - I would recommend you join the FB (closed) group if you’re buying it yourself (“Biotin for Progressive MS”, but you don’t have to be progressive to join).
The stuff from the chemist is at way too small a dose - you would have to take 30 H&B biotin tablets a day, which contain way too many fillers to take that many, apart from the incredible cost. The group have info on where to source your biotin from, and also much other helpful information. You can get capsules if you prefer, they cost more, but are less fiddly.
