one little reply LOL

Hi, I’m in Doncaster (Originally from Southport, nr Liverpool) but am being seen by a neuro at Sheffield Hallamshire. Oh and we say billy no mates here

Thankyou for all your responses, I’m truly amazed and it really did make interesting reading for me and for others too I hope. I’m also suprised at how many have no ‘ms mates’ just like me, proves how valuable this forum is doesn’t it? Well, whatever you would like to call me -Norman, Larry or Billy no Mates, I just want to say thanks for all your posts, much appreciated!

Another shout for Bury, Greater Manchester from Me (well, actually Ramsbottom) and I work in Bolton with someone who has MS so two of us in the same building.

Donna, have you signed up to the local brach? I haven’t tried/bothered as yet but there is a MS Collection happening at the big Tesco by the local branch so may go down! Good way to meet others with MS!

Vince

I’m from the Black country and if I wrote in our lingo from yam yam land then no one would understand it.

I have only met people going to ms nurse appts. I thought it was a monthly clinic at a small cottage like hosp and found out recently it was weekly. There must be loads of us in the area to do it weekly but we must all just carry on with it alone.

Pip

Hi - i’m from the north west so a long way unfortunately - recently started using this site so not familiar with it - just to let u know all ms nurses r busy at all times!!! Hope you get some more replies soon Charlottex

I would, my better half is Bostin (I beleive this is the correct meaning for my ‘champion’ or ‘wicked’)! (Wolves origin, but I do not hold it against her!)

Thankyou to everyone who has responded to my thread.

Hi Simon

Yes, it’s one of the best known centres of violin making in the world, second only to the college in Cremona, Italy, which is the finest on the planet.

Mark

Only thing I remember about visiting Newark was RHP Bearings and that was many moons ago whe I was able to work Sue x
