Hello everyone,

I am a 48 old female from Canada.
I just had my brain and cervical mri, waiting on the results. My symptoms are getting worse, feel numbness in the sole of my foot, very stiff knees and hips which make walking hard. Oh and very heavy legs. Also this weird ms hug thing too.
Sitting is the best, I have no symptoms sitting, but as soon as I stand up I feel all the symptoms above. I went to my GP more than a year ago with stiff knees and he sent me to a bunch of tests but everything was normal so eventually I went to the emergency and finally they got me in to have the mri.

Are this symptoms sound like some type of MS? Also I had optic neuritis 20 years ago.

Hello there

Symptoms could be MS, but then again could be a number of things. Hope that the MRI scan gives you some answers. At your age have you considered perimenopause? That can really mess up your body! Let us know how you got on when you get your results.
