I have been using the Avonex Pen for about 3 years now and I never encountered problems until lately. It feels like it became increasingly difficult to utilise for some reason. However, today I have had my weekly injection and when I clicked the blue button, I felt like the noise it is usually making felt a bit faint. It made me think something might be up. When I took the pen out, I could see bubbles of liquid forming at the end of the needle. Has anyone encountered this before? Is it possible that none of it got administered? It was not just one, it was leaking but very slowly. They would form one after the other until I counted about 8 drops and then I just put it back in the safety thingy provided.
