Are MRIs with contrast more likely to get a positive diagnosis than without if you have MS?

Hi, I’m new here and currently awaiting results for an MRI with contrast on my trigeminial nerve and brain. I have previously had a couple of other MRIs without contrast on my neck and spine which came up with damaged nerves in my neck and protruding discs in my back and narrow spine. I also had an MRI on my brain when I went to A&E about a year ago.
For the last two years I have been back and forth to the hospital and doctors for numbness in my right arm and hand which then spread to my right leg. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a numb tongue and they sent me for my latest MRI with contrast. As of this week I have a weird crawling sensation in my back and my back feels numb and tight. My right forearm also feels tight and hurts sometimes.
I feel exhausted and lost and was wondering if my MRI with contrast is more likely to see MS than the one I had without a year ago? I am hoping my latest MRI will bring some resolve. I feel like I’m going crazy. Thanks
