anyone fancy a chat?

God, I feel like s**t. I have nine hour jet lag a two year old a job and I feel like I am having a relapse. And ten minutes later I dont!! also very strong coffee makes all the smptomy feelings go away. Im not feeling anything new, just old symptoms and a nit of “drunkenness” and a lot of fatigue. And like I say, then I dont.

I thinkk its just extreme tiredness and bad jetlag messing with me, and the MS on top of all that.

Im just sounding off really, but has anyone else ever had anything like this when experiencing jet lag?

Sounds rough. I’ve not noticed anything with jet lag although thinking about it it did take me ages to recover from flight back from Delhi in January - and then I relapsed in February! But then I didn’t know then that I have ms so wasn’t making the connection. I feel drunk as a lord today though! Hoping its just cause it’s got hot again. Are you working at the minute or can you rest up a bit?

Hi sunflower, thanks for the chat

im pretty convinced its jetlag, as at night, when I am on nw york time – where I was before I came home - i feel absolutely fine. SO I spose another few days and will be back to normal.

how are you feeling?

No rest for me, although work isnt taxing at all. Trying to figure out a stretegy to get my two year old son over his jet lag is somewhat challenging

we jut kept him up til 11pm!!! in an effort to make him sleep all night and thereby reset his body clock. Fingers crossed. If he makes it past midnight, and then past 4am, weve done it.

talk to you again soon I hope, and all the best

Hi goodad. I wwas lucky as went to India on my own ( for work) so only had my own jet lag to worry about. But tonight have been entertaining an old uni friend who knew nothing of my dx and so I felt I should drink at the level she was used to. Needless to say I’m now worse for wear and will not be able to walk tomorrow! That’s the thing I am most struggling with post dx - not being able to drink friends/family under the table! Hope you’re feeling better tomorrow. Coping with your own jet lag is one thing but that of a toddler is something else!!
