Any advice appreciated

Hi all

Just looking for some advice really.

I’ve had numbness and tingling in my hands and feet for years. It’s just something I’ve learned to live with. However, since my last relapse, my right hand and foot are constantly stiff and sore. They keep cramping up painfully and recently the cramps have started in my right forearm. I’ve told my MS nurse and neuro and they’ve prescribed Baclofen and Gabapentin. They do help a bit but not enough. I’m up to the maximum daily dose of Baclofen and I’m increasing the Gabapentin all the time.

If you get these symptoms how do you manage them? Is it just something you have to learn to put up with?

Hi Jake

I take baclofen and amitriptyline and whilst they do not totally alleviate

the problem, they take the edge off.

Perhaps you could have a word with ms nurse or neuro to see if there

is something else you could take.
