Anxious about results....

Hi There

I’m back to the Neurologist tomorrow for my results… Reading other peoples posts on here, I have no eye problems, heavy legs etc etc, I have a massive massive issue with my balance… It has been constant for the last 6 months but varying levels. I’ve been house bound, except for making myself go to work, but this is done with extreme guts, determination, and a little bit of laughing at myself. But then sometimes it can be easier to cope with. Has anyone else experienced just this as a sympton?

If it is MS, are they likely to be able to give me something for the balance? It’s ruining my life!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and apologies if I sound a big ‘green’ but I’m new to this!

Hi Kellie, I’m not sure about balance medication and I’m sure someone will come along and let you know. However, a neurophysio can give you exercises if you have a neurological problem to help improve things. Hth, Teresa xx

Hi Kellie and welcome

Like Teresa, I don’t know of any meds for balance, but I do know that neurophysiotherapy can help so please ask the neuro about it. If he/she can’t refer you, then ask them to (please) recommend that the GP to refer you in the follow up letter. You can then see your GP and say, “See, the neuro advised neurophysio…” Very Machiavellian, but it’s rather necessary sometimes!

I hope it goes well tomorrow
