Afternoon gang!
Yesterday was the Scope christmas party. It`s a centre for disabled adults…I spend Monday afternoons there, sewing, chatting, card making. The members have all sorts of different conditions and we had a fab time.
After the delicious free buffet , we played chirades…what a hoot…I wish it had been televised to let other folk see how much fun can be had by those coping with seriously disabling problems…the people who say they are fed up of stuff that doesn`t affect them very much, would benefit from witnessing our struggles.
I have met and got to know lots of new friends and going to the centre has made me more tolerant and patient. It`s a good place. We are lucky to have it.
Merry Christmas to all of you. May your struggles ease in 2015…but if they dont, well cope somehow, wont we?
