Snap Carole, cept mines gin & t. Slobbed on my lovely girlies sofa, just had a cry about an act on BGT & going to watch a film in a bit, enjoy!!!x
I’ve had a lovely dinner. Some wine (v nice Cab Sauvignon followed a pre dinner smigeon of fairly ordinary Bordeaux Blanc). Dinner followed by a tiny chocolate thing. Watched a bit of scary news and now OH is watching one of those series’ in multiple languages that I can’t follow. Never mind, I shall go to bed with my kindle in a bit.

Like, like, like! (Grrrrrrrrr, need that button back)
Went to the big nearby town and drove my Ferrari around the shopping centre. I love it! No more being whacked after a couple of shops. Had dinner out at a local pub/restaurant. Great steak sandwich, on garlic buttered crusty bread, onions, mushrooms, chips and a salad garnish. Steak cooked to perfection. Best I’ve had in a long time.
Just scoffed the chocolates from my egg, completely without remorse. Having been child minder for the two grandchildren most of the week, had two lovely, very welcome visits from lovely relatives I haven’t seen for a while, I would now love a happy, un demanding weekend please!
Don’t you find that you need that button so much more now it’s not there???
Irritating or what? Glad you’ve been scarifying the town in the Ferrari. Also that you’ve had a lovely Saturday night dinner out.
Also, isn’t Easter all about the chocolate???

Yep, chocolate, lots of it!
Btw, we seem to have adopted a fourth cat. A tabby boy turned up two weeks ago, in heat and yeowling constantly. Nothing gonna happen down our lane. My two boys and one girl are all neutered, and our neighbours four ladies are all spayed. Well, he decided it was an okay place to be. Food on offer, nervously accepted a few strokes everytime I saw him, so…to the vet’s Thursday. Job done!
He’s still a little unsure and our others are either giving him the evil eye, or shouting at him. He just sits patiently on the back doorstep and doesn’t dare come in. I guess he’ll please himself and do so in his own time. If he decides to be an outdoor cat then that’s okay too. I’ve called him Benjamin. Benny! to join Arnie, Christy and Dolly.

the film i watched was good.
i read the book and then gave it away to someone who loves reading.
i’d forgotten a lot and it was really good.
so if you haven’t read the book thief or seen the film, you really should.
only had some cheap lidl chocolate but i ate it and pretended it was good stuff.
it wasn’t though .
there is a tiny bit of lindt with sea salt that i 'd forgotten so i’ll scoff that and then to bed.
good night to my fellow rebels

Oh I watched that film yesterday too! Excellent film. Reminded me of the story of Anne Frank (read that one time and again when I was a teenager!). But I havn’t read the book theif or heard of it before, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I watched Split, very dark & disturbing based on a film called Sybill, Sally Fields played the main role. Thank the lord for the gin, wasn’t sure if the film was distorted or it was the copious amounts of the alcohol consumed, at least it knocked me out with no nightmares, will probably catch me up tonight, landing light on methinks.
Got myself down to local sports centre - wedding party just left leaving loads of champagne already poured into glasses. Pity to waste it said the barmaid so i quaffed (is that the right word) a glass - think it must have been expensive stuff because the champagne I’ve had in the past has been rubbish - but this was brilliant.
Anyway the longer I stayed there the more I convinced myself (and others felt the same) that it was a pity to chuck it out so I had another glass and a third. And then I had to phone for someone to come and pick me up because my driving may have been a tad impaired.
(should say that all this happened in Yorkshire where we don’t like to see anything go to waste and we’re not too proud to take freebies)

i’m only next door in lancashire and we don’t like waste either.

never mind the landing light, if any spooks or monsters come after you just set fezbomb on them.
For all his teeth Carole, Fez is a bit of a wuss, lying on my knee, fast asleep & would probably sleep through my screams, in fact highly likely!! x
He is looking very lovely tonight Tracey. Not a trace of coal dust in evidence.
Sue x (for the Fez)
Thanks Sue, unfortunately he was placed in solitary confinement (only for 5 mins) for biting friend’s dog (whom is terrified of Fez, but my lovely friend brought the dog anyway), but after all, it is Fezbomb’s territory, the dog is a pain in the arse (yappy little git) & Fez doesn’t like it, so just to show willing, I placed him in his kit for time out, released him & he did it again, think my friend, if she’s any sense, bless her, will leave the dog at home next visit as I don’t think Fez should be removed from his home because of the hairy little rat (I’m miffed cos it peed on my floor)!! I love my friend, but her dog is a nightmare, Fez was quite in order!! Tracey x
So does that mean next time she brings her dog you’ll take preemptive action and bite the dog yourself? Just to make a point!
I think Fez is quite in the right. Animals entering his domain take their own risks.
