Advice again… I’m sure I’m over thinking this

Hi again

Long story short. Had MRI last Friday, due to sudden weakness/numbness down one side of body. Originally being investigated for a stroke. Drs found ms lesions and I was referred to same day emergency clinic for steroids, lumbar punched followed on the Monday. I’ve had an appointment through for neurology for next Friday.
I’m a little concerned about how quick I’ve got an appointment, wait time on hospitals website is 60+weeks and from what I’ve read on here most people have had long waits.
I am obviously grateful for a quicker appointment as I do not like this period of not knowing much at all about what is happening inside, but also now a little concerned as to why the appointment is so quick?

Has anyone else been through this?
Thank you in advance

Crumbs, you have been having a torrid time. Make the most of a sooner-than-expected consultation- things might slow down at some point, so hurrah for it working at the moment. There are a hundred reasons why you’ve maybe got a quick appointment and the actual reason is probably the 101st one you haven’t thought of, so no use trying to figure that one out.

I hope that you have a good consultation and come away with some clarity about where things stand and what happens next.
