Today I celebrate my 80th birthday and am having a large party tomorrow for family and friends. Just wanted all you lovely people out there to know that despite MS I am still managing to enjoy life although nowadays from the confines of my bed.
It will be hard tomorrow without my late husband and soulmate at my side but my lovely daughter and grandson have done everything to ensure I have an amazing time as I’m sure I will. So you see there’s still a good life to be had even with our unwanted MS gift.

Hi - yes try to stay positive and leave MS at the back of your mind. not every twinge is going to be MS! I didn’t hear about DMTs until I saw it mentioned on the forum last year. I’ve not seen a Neurologist since the 1980s but I have survived!

I was 27 when I was diagnosed and found it very difficult (I’m now 35, so I’ve got many, many years to go)
