Morning everyone, I am about to start injecting avonex and was just wondering how long does it take for side effects to start? Im going to inject tomorrow night, so hoping to sleep through the worst of it …probably being a bit too hopefull about that though!! Emma x
Hi emma, i was on avonex for three years and it was for me only the first two/three weeks that i had the mild flu like symptoms the next day, i did take paracetomol just before the jab and again just before bedtime and a again in the morning after the jab, but we are all different so gd luck with it .
