This will be my first application, I know age Uk helped my aunt, but is there anyone who can help us slightly younger folk.

Speak to your local CAB or disability support group as they will have someone who will know just what to say so you get the best result and highest amount possible. Good luck.

Contact DIAL http://www.dialuk.info/ who will come around your house and help with the forms. Or Benefits and work http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/ who give excellent advice costs £19.40 per year. The DLS give excellent free advice http://www.dls.org.uk/advice/factsheet/factsheets_download.html it is essential you get help.

I agree with George. Joining ‘Benefits and Work’ and following their guide will be the best money you’ve ever spent.
