Wear has the heart gone.

But how useful to have the help and advise from someone so knowledgeable!

I wish I’d have seen them! It would have been amazing to have had someone like that to refer to for help!

Not sure I’d have managed without the help of the likes of Rizzo, HKfooey, LordNibbler ( I forget her new name), Anu and the likes…

We’ll have to hope they come back soon!?

Lots of sparkles…

I am glad that you are getting the notifications fixed, Greg. There’s nothing like a notification arriving in your e:mail inbox to say you have a reply to get a person back on the MSS board. It was very often the trigger for me on the old board, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

At the bottom left of the original posters pst there is a button saying alert me to replies. If yu click it it openes a new page and you can then choose your preferences for how often you want replies to be sent.

I used this yesterday for the first time in replying to someone else’s post ad Ta-Dah I got an email notification this morning when someone else added to the thread!!!

It does work,

Cheers,

Belinda

PS Wobbly boy, LOVE the analogy about the seeddy pub and the wine bar. Absolutely spot on!

And of course I meant BOTTOM RIGHT of the original posters post, not left! Bloody MS Brain…

Hi all - thanks as ever for your input. It’s not always easy to read that people are unhappy with what we’re offering but it’s always better to have constructive criticism than no feedback at all.

I’d like to stress that the big advantage of this new system compared to the old one is that nothing is set in stone and we’re always able (budget allowing) to make changes and improvements.

Now that we’re over the initial hump, we are in a position to start making improvements and I really want this to be a collaborative process. It’s your service so we need to make sure that everything we do is with you in mind. That’s not to say we can do everything you ask us to but we can work with you to understand what the priorities are and make the changes that have the most benefit to the most people on here.

I’ve started a thread under annoucements talking about what we’re working on at the moment and asking for your views on how we should approach the next pieces of development. Please take a second to have a look and let me know what you think…

Thanks eveyone!

Hi,

I am relatively new to this site and have never used the ‘older’ site so I cannot comment on it. What I will say is that this site having been recently dx with RRMS has been an absolute boon to me, to be able to talk to people who suffer with the same things has been great. It has helped me get things of my chest and comes to terms with it and has made me realise just how many actually suffer with MS.

So thank you for creating this site.

Janet
