For the last 6 months or thereabouts I have been wooken up in the middle of the night to have a pee. Well my consultant gave me a prescription for a drug. Now I sleep straight through the night.
It has changed my life. I now sleep straight through the night and do not need to go to the loo for about 12 hours after takig the pill. I am on thwe waiting list for Botox but it is quite long.
If you are woken up in the night needing to go to the loo on a regular basis then I suggest talking to your docctor or consultant to get a prescription.
Desmotab is aka Desmopressin. It seems to work wonders for some people and not be so good for others. I never found that it helped me much.
Good for you though Patrick. I dream of being able to go all night without waking up about four times, not always for the loo, just to change my sleeping position or to throw off some bedclothes. I have a tendency to start the night freezing cold with PJs and extra blanket on and gradually to shed layers throughout the night.
