Waiting appointment

Hi Eveyone

At my first appointment i was diagosed with transverse myelitis .no significant brain white spots .Im waiting second appointment next week ,ive had some bloods back high inflamation ,negative nom and mog and connective tissue , and waiting lumbar puncture still having loads of symptoms and now i have no idea where everything is going

Any ideas on what to ask at my next appointment,was too shell shocked at the first one to really ask anything

Are you at the point where yous re wondering if you have MS, and not been diagnosed with it? Sorry, I didn’t understand some of your post.

I think from what you’ve said you have had one appointment with a neurologist and an MRI which didn’t show lesions, and you are due to see a neurologist for a second appointment?

And you are wondering what to ask in that appointment. Is that correct?

I guess if it was me I would be asking what illness(es) they think you might have and what tests they will do to work out what is wrong. Then I would ask about how long the waiting time is to have those tests and what happens after that.

I had a spinal mri and had 3 lesions but nothing significant in the brain mri

I was sent a letter saying diagnosis was transverse myelitis but he wanted to do more tests as he thought they could have found ms at an early stage

The tests above have all come back negative for lupus etc so it looks like ms but no diagnosis just wanted to know what to ask next
