Hello again, and apologies to those of you who have had enough of me and my bladder? Just a quick question. I am on 5mg of vesicare which has very effectively curbed my over active bladder, so well in fact it looks like I’m going to have to ISC. Does the body get used to this drug, making it less effective, becoming necessary to increase the dose? Thanks xx
I took this drug for two years for urgency, but often found it caused retention , although did not have to resort to ISC. However, it also caused an extremely dry mouth. I changed to Betmiga six months ago. Wonderful ! No side effects and bladder function normalised . Much superior!

Hi I’ve been on 5mg for 3 years, and it’s helped a lot - recently though I am having problems again so I’m trying to get round to contacting the incontinence nurse again. Keep putting it off, but need to do it:-P
Been on 5 Mg for quite a few years. No side effects and it stops the urgency
