Tricks & Tips

Hi everyone,

Just a thread of useful, positive, things from experience.

Big one for me was recognising I’ve got no bum anymore so was literally sitting on my nerves all the time (as you can imagine sit a bit more than I’d like to) and the chair I had was rubbish. Better chair, trucker pad I think they are called (like an extreme cushion) all of a sudden (kinda…) could actually stand again.

So I’d recommend a really good chair, got a “cheap” (still like 3x what happy to pay) refurbished one during lockdown when everyone was abandoning offices and a massive pad thing.

Wooden chairs etc in pubs are a total no-no for me, turn crazy after a few minutes.

Worked for me hopefully of use. I’m certain there is a wealth of lived experience here so please all batter in.

All the best,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew.

On MS News today there was an interesting item about dance/ moving to music. Sounds useful and something I might start doing . Not sure about the group Zoom dances but might interest some. The joy, vulnerability of dance help me live with multiple sclerosis
