Hi all About 6 weeks ago I started weekly Avonex injections, but due to them bringing on serious bouts of depression I was taken off them after 4 weeks and due to start Capaxone next week. And lo and behold I had a relapse start at the weekend! (If that’s not sod’s law I don’t know what is!) My consultant now wants to postpone treatment and to get an MRI done. In the meantime my most intimate areas feel as though they’ve been injected with whatever it is the dentist uses to numb your gums, and my feet are starting to follow suit! Ah the joys of MS

Sorry to hear you’ve relapsed, I know you weren’t sure at the weekend if one was starting. I guess there’s no point starting a new DMD until the relapse has gone, they probably don’t stop a relapse while in progress. Feel your pain, or lack of it Kath Xx
All I can think of saying is what a b*mmer! Hope you get over your relapse soon. I was numb down there on one of my relapses, not nice!
