Told that I may be showing early signs of MS

Hi all, feeling very confused and worried at the moment having been told that I may be showing early signs off MS due to some issues I’ve been having with my health.
I’m 41, relatively fit and healthy (don’t smoke, slightly underweight). I’ve been having bouts of labyrinthitis for a couple of years now (an inner ear infection which cannot be treated with antibiotics). Symptoms are vertigo, nausea and balance problems.
I saw am emergency GP in my local hospital last week as the vision in my right eye became very blurred as I was unable to focus, so rang 111 who referred me. Having talked through my symptoms, medical history, and doing some neurological tests, she said I should see my GP to ask for a referral for an MRI as she is concerned I am showing signs of early MS.
There have been a few red flags over the past couple of years:
I go through periods of feeling totally fatigued and exhausted; I could literally sleep all day but will still feel tired.
Brain fog and confusion. I’ve noticed that I am starting to have issues forming words and saying them out loud, even though I know what the word is in my mind.
A few months ago, I temporarily lost the use of my right arm - my brain was telling it to move, but I couldn’t physically move it.
Tremors/shaking - sometimes struggle to write with a pen
Constipation/difficulty going to the loo, despite taking fibre supplements
Last year, I was tested for bladder cancer as I kept getting suspected UTI’s - I was constantly peeing, particularly at night.

One thing I did straight away was book an eye test (I wear glasses and contact lenses). The optician told me that I’d developed a severe eye misalignment and was effectively cross eyed. Considering I only had a sight test in Feb this year which didn’t pick up any misalignment, could this also be an indication of MS?

Sorry, realise I’ve given a bit of an epic introduction, I suppose I just need to hear from other people who’ve been in a similar situation. I have made a GP appointment, but it’s in a couple of weeks time.

Thanks

Glad you have an appt with a GP so soon. I don’t know if you have MS but certainly wouldn’t hurt to get an MRI of brain and spine. Good Luck and hope you get answers soon. The waiting is the worst.

I am sorry that you are having a worrying time. Sometimes getting to the bottom of things (not just MS - other complex conditions too) starts with someone joining the dots of issues that might in the past have been treated as unrelated to each other. It sounds as though that process is getting started for you. Whatever ails, I hope that you get some answers soon.
